It was a hot sunny day that was coming to a close. Time to get out and longboard when it’s a little cooler. These were taken in two locations Nanaimo just off Marine and in Burnaby just passed boundary on Kaymar Drive. Used both the 24-70mm f2.8 and the 70-200mm f2.8. Wanted to capture some of the speed through blur and tighter full frame slides.
Longbeach near Tofino, BC is a wonderful stretch of Canada’s west coast. Since it faces the pacific ocean it attracts surfers year round. They just need to bring their wetsuits. It was a bright sunny afternoon around 2:00pm. I had a polarizing filter on my 70-200 f2.8.
